How many people wear helmets or spine protectors n stuff like that in the park? I'm thinking of getting one of those spine shell protector things because my biggest fear is breaking my back.
I always wear a dorsal protection and usually a helmet. Protections a surelly worth the investment. A good friend of mine would now be in a wheel chair or maybe even dead if he hadn't worne them.
i dont think body pads are gay even though i dont wear them. anybody could say wearing a mouth gaurd is gay. yoru more likely to hurt your body before your mouth anyways
youve never broken your jaw before have you. the gard helps keep your teeth and jaw in place so u dont lose teeth, break yur jaw, and it helps protect against concussions.
mmm i dont think you will need a spine protector cuz like unless your tryin to throw some crazy shit like double backs or riskyflips in the park then your never gonna flat out land on your back.... unless you have horrible air sense. like if you land on your head then a spine protector those nothing for you...and i have landed flat on my head. but you definitly should get a good helmet i would probly be brain dead if i didnt wear one.
i just said that i think your more likely to get hurt in places other than your jaw. i dont really care what people wear to protect themselves. if u want to wear it and you think it helps then wear it
Seth wears a mouthguard because when you fall 80ft to a (sometimes) dead stop, it really jars your teeth. Mouthguards in the park is a bit extreme though.
i understand the mouth guard thing. just over shooting a jump i jar my teeth together. it seems like it would be kinda annoying though i think.

i sure would like to rest ... but the energy gets the best of me. its been a wild ride i wouldnt change a minute i cant slow down inside guess thats why i live it
my friend ripped part of his tounge overshooting a hit once. i always wear a helmet, even outside the park. if you're going 30-50 mph down a hill on nothing but a couple stick attached to your feet, a helmet is a good idea. plus its really warm
That stuff looks good. So can anyone tell me if it actually helps like take away impact when you fall hard. And is it bulky and how do you where it like overtop of your clothes under your coat? Is it too hot? Thanks!
i think that would be way uncomfy to wear a cup.... plus how often do you rack yourself?....maybe its happens to you guys alot but i never rack my balls....
i wear a helmut but i don't go insane in the park its more for trees cuz i don't want to get impaled through the head with a sharp ass tree branch.....i haven't started going inverted in the park yet though so i'm sure it'll come in handy if that ever happens
my face is normal, my jaw was reconstructed so youd never know it was broken and i have two new teeth. i was lucky cause they broke at the gums so i was able to have new ones glued on. the glues are actually stronger than the teeth were!
