Protecting Boots on Sled.

Hey, So I went out for the first time this year on my sled with my brand new Nordica Ace of Spades Boots. And the running boards on my sled totally ate my boots Does anyone have any good ideas or techniques to protect their boots on the sled? Thanks for any help.

In a ski shop around me I saw these things you could put on the bottoms of your boots called Cat Tracks. I think that would do the trick for you. I googled it and here they are at the small price of 16 bucks.

yeah, the cat track things for walking shud work just fine on the sled. cheap solution! haha

if you'd mount some skibindings on your sled you could do some gnarly no-hands + your boots 'll be protected !
