I have to agree with Toben Sutherland, he was pretty decent back in the day. I dont how you can say evan raps has faded away when he just had his own segment in happy Dayz. Trennon Payntor, Kevin Douglas, Loubek

 
Schad is indeed just enjoying life with his wife, working hard and building a shit ton of houses in Rapid City, SD. Toben moved to Calgary I believe with his beautiful wife to coach freestyle. Laroche is skiing around and chilling. Marc-Andre is skiing hard in Utah all the time and he just had a shot in Freeskier doing it up on the wallride at Tremblant. Loubeck currently lives in Cor'delane, Idaho and works for Oakley as a sales rep in the Pacific Northwest. Rod Adams did indeed break himself at Hood, shown in SM2. The infamous Schrab twins, attend college back in Wisconsin and don't get out skiing much. They still host one hell of a competition back in Michigan every season replete with tons of Red Bull, swag and of course, Uncle E.

 
Im sure Shannon will enjoy the wonderful skiing at Terry Peak (note extreme sarcasm).

If you wanna find Toben Sutherland, move to calgary and start aerials training. He was hired by the national program as a coach(development team, I think, not sure), and a friend of mine can't stop telling me how good of a coach he is. His wife is also extra hot, and he apparently had one killer stag party, as shown in Parental Advisory(he's the guy who can barely mumble, half passed out in the Whistler Village with a couple of friends helping him out!)

i did watch high life. he just didnt have a good seg considering the snow pack from last year. the seg he had was probably like two days of filming

kris ostness did not fade away, he retired, basicly the guy was fuckin sooooo progressive for his time, just think 5 years ago when the coolest thing was throwing a hucked iron cross 900, ostness was doing flat spin 360s over 100ft back country jumps, as well pimp lincoln/cork 3s, and massive mctwists on bc quarter pipes, the footage still makes me shit myself, not to mention he is in my opinion the best ski filmaker out there, just look at lifted, that movie is put together sooo well, i love it, music and all, ok hada get that off my chest

oh ya he also had his own pro model, 193 ostness dragon, sooo tight, i believe its still the longest twin tip ever made?

your thinking of pete mithoefer. He is actually real nasty but hes onlike like 19. He skis no differently than he does with poles, his style is so nasty. I grew up seein that kid ride and he was doing switch 9's back in '97.

yea paquette was soooo sick, he got like 2nd at the US open, first guy doin reverse mutes and stuff too. i have always wanted to see more of him. if he came back now with the tricks he had back then, he would still be on top

how about kris ostness (sp?), he did some crazy stuff..and everything was huge..he even has the first all mountain twin for a pro by line.

 
most of the guys 'fading away' are just moving on, many still coach at camps and stuff, and still rip... just not in movies and in the mags
