Pros impact on fans

over the course of the past few years I have met a pretty good amount of professional skiers. a lot of pros skiers realize how big of an impact they have on their fans. A lot dont really get it though. Certain pros that I previously looked up to and admired I now don't really care for. That is based simply upon times that I have met them. For example one certain pro that I loved was at park City during a day that I was. I skied up to him and just told him how much I loved all of their videos and he just brushed me off and didn't even give me a thanks. I'm not crying about it but I just think that some pros don't realize how big of an impact they can have on their fans. I have also had pros go out of their way to be kind and just be extremely friendly to Thierry fans. I just wanted to mention that all pros have an impact no matter what they think every confrontation with a fan is important.

I'm not sure if its just luck but every pro skier i have ever met has been incredibly down to earth and kind.I assumed it was because its such a small community and they don't make allot of money, they have been big names aswell like james woods , gus kenworthy ,tom.

As a younger kid who looks up to pro skiers it's so awesome to meet pros. I remember riding up in the gondola with Brogan at Keystone and I had some Electric's on and he told me they were sick and asked to trade. I was way younger and I just kinda silently shook my head and said naa while thinking holy shit. Looking back I think he was actually down to trade his Electric's which I regret so hard

Max Hill was in front of me on the lift at MSLM when I was 14. Me and my buddy yelled to him and he yelled something like shut up. I think it's pretty funny now that im not an annoying 14yr old but at the time I was so mad/butthurt.

OP is a fucking pussy, grow the fuck up. Pro's aren't put on this earth to cater to your pathetic ego, get over it.

You fucked up so hard not trading with him

I had the same experience with Simon dumont. As a kid he was my idol then when I met him he was kinda an asshole and brushed me off.

I met Tanner Hall in 2009 at the Dew Tour finals. He was the coolest dude ever, and his mother was wonderful. Meeting him made me want to start focusing on pipe skiing. Was a cool experience.
