Give a little more info, like what kinda skiing your planning on doing (park or all mountain/trail). I think these are some ok skis if your not planning to pay any more then 200$ on skis then these are good. I would also try to demo them before you buy them.
I've been riding the 10/11 afterbangs for a few years and love them. They have changed up the '14 a lot since then and it's gotten better but lots of people complain about them delaming and chipping way too much. If your strictly park 100% and looking for a cheap ski then yeah it sounds like a good match. If you have a little more them look into the line TC
Durability is a problem I've seen a few snap I would go for a little higher quality ski atomic punx or ar7s are good or even the chronic but you can get good skis $200-300 if you look instores probably a few for $200 exactly that are a little higher quality
My step-bro snapped 2 pairs last season. Biggest jump he hit was 20 feet, best rail trick was sliding the progression tube. For not putting a beating on his skis, he broke 2 pair. Take it for what its worth
