Props to Stowe...

it'd be so nice to be able to session the "rail garden" and all the other parks as well each run. Didn't love having to choose between one or the other at the base.

you really only gotta choose between north and halfpipe. take a right off the triple and you've got 3 potential choices every time.

sounds like stowe is killin it. cant wait to get back next yearr

word i agree, i liked the rail park up by the top of the triple so you had that then tyro then north slope, not north slope or halfpipe/rails because I love the north slope park and not crazy about skipping that to suck at halfpipe and hit some rails even tho i do want to hit the rails. haha if that makes sense

That little rail garden on 5th ave has been rebuilt, we just needed to make more snow there so it lasts to the end. As far as the "option" thingy choosing between Standard or N Slope, there's not much can be done there, look at the mt and the way the trails were cut, narrow, many intersections it's tough for them to give me top to bottom terrain because of this. I too wish I could get top to bottom off the Quad, but I'll take any new terrain they'll give me if it means I can build more park for you guys and gals, and it'd make me happy. More parks is a good thing.

AIG! That would be an awesome paycheck, but we were sold to a company by the name of Chartis which would still be a sick salary! That would be like a 1000 percent raise.

AIG no longer owns Stowe? That's some news. I hope the park next year will be as sick as it is this year. Blew out me knee, no more skiing this season.

No worries, thanks to all you college kids who bought passes, in the last 2 years there has been close to a 200 percent increase in sales. We all like to see that, it only means things are on the upswing for freestyle terrain. Even with all the crap that surrounded the AIG money BS, we still built new rails/boxes, hired some new staff and put up some solid parks and a pipe. So I'd say that next season will bring some more fun stuff...

Went yesterday.....parks were def on point.

Please stop making the North Slope jumps smaller and flatter though....my knees hurtttt

yo i noticed this too... i think it would be a really good idea to beef up the jumps again before spring... just a thought kurt.

Agreed. Only complaint right now. Stowe is super fun right now, but North Slope seems to be slowly declining. They were so ill like a month ago but its gotten a little worse. Landing on the long flat rail is sick though, no more mega drop.

Sorry everyone, my wife and I just had a baby last week and I'm not working curently, but I will pass this info along to my crew to work on this. I'll be back soon and I'm hoping to close it to push up on thing and maybe make a few changes, just not sure on the timing but hpoe before the end of the month. Hang in there, I'll be back full time next week.

if anything, there needs to be a more legitimate landing.. it sucks landing so flat and losing all speed for the first jump.. and also make the jump onto the wooden up box smaller, that would be awesome.

one last thing.. is anyone else disappointed with the down rails being set up pretty much ride on? there needs to be atleast one nice down rail that can be set up actual urban style.. thanks

wilcox they actually changed the lowest down rail into urban style...they cut away the jump on so its a pretty good attempt at urban...id def. agree with making the landings less flat...especially the first/second on left side and first jump on right
other than that im pretty damn pleased with whats up right now...def. could use some tweaking later in the season for a lil variety

I am convinced that Stowe will forever be cloudy with a change of snow showers (total accumulation of less than 1")

Killing it with the parks this year. The only thing I could ask for is to set the bigger of the 2 cannons as a down rail, or down around the rainbow with a stepover style landing

twas a verrr epic day...chinclip woods, the kitchen wall, and the woods past chinclip woods were prime all day...waisty deep is rightt

yeah fer real. They are tiny. Not even the hangtime of north slope. Really disapointed, but i heard they'll be reshaped soon? they need to be.
oh and open up that main event jump! thing looks amazing.

it snowed over 2 feet of wet thick snow, that's going to ruin tranys in a big way. We'll be working on things this week, I'll be closing and working Standard on Tues then N Slope Wed and Thur for daytime work and I'll have the guys work on Tyro and the other parks during the night shifts, so by the end of the week I hope to have the parks back in shape.
