despite the fact that they wont do it, people should petition for one. put a park in green valley through may.... they could do it and make money and such. it would be awesome. people oughts to petition and such.

I enjoy skiing there, its got a lot of variety, and the green runs are nice and long and such...

but yes, such a petition is kinda, well, pointless. they would lose so much money if they did that, think of the operating costs, and how many people would actually go all the way the fuck down there to go to it.

Petitions are for like changing legislature (picturing a few kids with some names written on a paper going down there... 'These people demand a park!!!')

If Crystal gets a summer park, then I petition to have a big mountain IFSA event at Summit Central. The radness of both events could not be quantified.

 
i worked up there this winter and talked to John K. the owner, telling him how much freakin money he would make and stuff and he just said it was liability and that it's in the 'master plan'

It's so dumb, i just wish there was some way we could actually do something.

yeah i drove by snoqualmie, theres not even patches of snow.

can a petition count for anything other than laws, etc? Like, I thought the point of a petition was to ratify a law, or get someone out of office... that kind of thing. Plus you have to be 18 for such a thing, and a registered voter.

I suppose this 'petition' would only serve the purpose of saying 'look how many people want this'.... but I really don't think very many people would.

Now, if you installed a few snow machines at the NKCC, and had a year long rail park.... well, then you'd be on to something.

Yeah Crystal seems to get worse and worse every year. I hate skiing up there but since I have a cabin there I go anyways. I'm just glad i'm going to college in Portland next year. Mt Hood.....
