i rode them yesterday and it was a fresh pow day of about a meter of new snow, they were rad in floatation but they were very sluggish, where as with the seth viscious and even the madn you can throw them around pretty good

yeah, the prophets are suprisingly agile and light, and as to the brake question, Line is coming out with the prophet brake for the reactors this week im pretty sure

The prophets are not a ski used to tear through snow aggressively.

They're a ski used to float and enjoy the powder for all it's worth. I'm sure you would get used to them and be able to ski pretty hard on them.

God damn, it's insane how fucking short those skis look...but definitely ill...

the ski looks so short because of how wide it is. crazy stuff.

I have to say, though, I liked them better when they were just black and white. Those may have just been prototypes, but that whole look just fit the ski very well.

 
they come in a 186 with the 130 waist and they do make a wide brake for them, which jibij also carries. they look kind of small in that picture because, well, landon is a giant. here's a better photo to get an idea of the size.

spats are 125 underfoot, but tip is only 120 and tail 115. They're totally different, but do similiar stuff. Having skied the spatulas (i own them), My guess is they're better in straight untouched pow because of the reverse side cut, absolutely no hooking. But that reverse sidecut makes it pretty hard to carve on hard stuff, so the prophets might be better on scraped out chutes, but they also might be too big, sick ski though.

 
They ride great on everything. I was skiing the park on them thursday. Very solid on rails. I recommend using the forward mount.

It's a great all mountain ski. People need to get it out of their heads that it only works in powder.

yeah decade has a couple pairs of the 130's, they're crazy, really expensive for the type of ski they are if you ask me, not everyone can get that much powder all the time to make great use of them

 
If i lived out east I would center mount them and ride park every day with them.
