so line came to my 'resort' today to demo next years skis. let me start by saying that i was very surprised by this, as anyone who has every skiied in ohio can vouch for me that its terrible, and im surprised any ski companies care about us at all. but anyway, all the new line skis were there, including all three sizes of prophets. they had the 130 waists, and i didnt think they were gonna let people demo them, but i asked the dood and he was like, hell ya. so he mounted em up with a pair of reactors, and i gave em a try. It was like 60 today and we had around 6 inches of snow, so i didnt really get the whole feel of the real purpose behind the ski, but it felt like i had a pontoon on each foot.....i fuckin floated everywhere. The craziest thing is that you can go straight and then angle your skis and slide down the hill with almost no change in speed. its so fucked up. but they rode reallly nice switch, which i was impressed about. overall, id say if i lived somewhere where the total winter precipitation exceeded 5-6 feet, id consider purchasing a pair. they were insane. i just thought it was nuts that they would demo such a rare and 'specialty' ski

i also gave the invaders a try, and was very impressed. the graphics are SICK (as with every other ski that line came out with this year). They looked like they were mounted really close to center. very soft and flexy and lightweight. the dood says that they are going to retail for $299, so im definately nabbing a pair.

those invaders were amazing today. i was about to give the guy cash for them right there on the slopes. der gettin a pair when they come out. i was also surprised how light they were considering they had reactor 12's on them.

your lucky, i wish i could demo the prophets. i went to see the prophets and invaders at jibij a few days and they are soo nice looking. im definitly buying invaders next year

You obviously haven't seen them, the graphics are nothing like the PE, they have a bunch of old television characters and silly sayings at shit on them.

The rest of the sizes are 178, 171, 161, 151.

 
yeah dude the invaders graphics are nothing like the PEs. PEs haver a theme but invaders are just a bunch of random drawings of old Line graphics. It is SOOOOOOOOO cool.

Since they are comparing the Invaders so much to Fujatives, im guessing they'll be really flexy. More so than AR5's

 
i demoed them too, invaders are really buttery and flexy. ahha prophets are soo crazy.

invaders have nice flex for buttering and stuff, but its not too much that you cant ski them. their also one of the lightest skis ive ever been on even though they had reactor 12's on them wich weigh like 9pounds

i saw the prophets for the first time @ fresh in calgary this week. They are the same width as a water ski hahaha.

thats really tight man. sounds like alot of people rode reactors there. what did u all think of em compared to alot of the trash that people on this board talk about their durability?

 
The Invaders graphics do remind you of older PE's, but they are still sick nonetheless, and obviously the bases show a major difference. Sounds like LINE isn't letting up for next year, should be some good shit.

Weenox, were people on the lift giving you weird looks at all?
