can they be brought into the park. no rails of course but how do they fare in the jumps. i'm 5' 9" 135 lbs and am asking because i've been thinking about them because i need a wider ski for next year (want to take some trips) my hill is super small 400 vert in SE indiana and i figure 90 would be good underfoot. i already have TMs for park but i might not want to change skis to only hit a few jumps, also how's the flex on them. i've been thinking the prophet series would be too stiff.

would blends be a better option or do you have any other suggestions. i'm open to even wider underfoot also. i plan on steppin up my skiing soon because shredding my entire hill switch all day to challenge myself is getting old

blends are a lot like the prophets because they both have the metal matrix. that makes em pretty stiff. i know a kid that took em in the park and he was hitting jumps with no problems at all on them. i think they would be a good choice.

are prophets really that stiff? i was thinking about getting a pair cause the turning radius was a little smaller compared to the 188 guns that i was looking at.

well the blends actually have the carbon matrix not the metal so its probably lighter and id expect the blends to be geared more toward park than prophets

no man. blends have carbon matrix, im positive for this year, 25% sure for next year, same dimensions. basicly a flexier, more poppy ski.

i would get the blend over the prophet any day. im 98% sure its lighter too, but not by much.

I took my prophets in to the park a few time and it def. was a challenge. So I got myself a pair of chronics for park because I like stiffer skis. I use chronics for park (center mounted) and prophet for pow and I enjoy both skis a lot. But if your looking for something for both park and pow I would pick the blends if I were you, just don't center mount them.

arvs are defititly on my mind. but seth's? wouldn't they be stiff? and i haven't heard of their performance in park

hmm didn't know that. i don't know how the arv would be i've never had such a noodly ski. it might be fun though

I would say that's about right, they are mid-soft in the nose and a bit stiffer in the tail. But overall stiffer than the ARV, and probably a little softer than the Blends.

I have some blends with 4frnt 412's on them if you're interested. Skied about 8 days or less. Mounted +5.5cm.

blends are a blast man, pretty stiff, carves fantastic, very light.

best all mountain twin ive ever ridden. and ive ridden a few.

Prophet is a great ski I see it more as a big mtn charger than a flex, soft park ski, of course you can take them in the park for jumps, I take my VCT's in there all the time and they kick ass, a wider ski in the park is so much fun because of the base area you have to land on

Paoli Peaks?
