Proper goggle maintenance?

don't rub the inside lens.

definitely put them in the goggle bag whenever you are using them. try to keep the bag clean too, if you get it dirty and you're cleaning your gogs one time you might scratch them.

dont use windex!! There use a sprayer cleaner that is meant for goggles or glasses and never spray anything directly on the lense spray on the cloth you are using to clean with.

all of the padding on my goggles have deteriorated. is there something i can do to prevent wind and get a better fit. is there something i can buy and glue on to act as the original goggle padding?

If they aren't on your head they should be in their little baggy and protected (I keep mine in mah helmet). When you are using them, but the little goggle baggy in your pocket so if you do need to wipe them or anything , only do it with that baggy. Never touch the lens with your fingers/coat/sweater.

.

And if the inside of the lens gets wet, dab it very gently with a tissue or sponge until it's dry then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

wouldnt that rub the anti fog coating off? I was under the impression to let goggles dry naturally then wipe off the inside

As long as you aren't vigorously wiping the inner lens while it's still wet. Smith makes a little sponge called the Snow Eraser that's made to soak up moisture before wiping the lens.

If your goggles are wet never put them straight into your goggle bag, let the lenses dry out naturally first.
