gay marriage is only affecting gays. I don't get why people make such a big deal about it. Just let them have their freedoms, but when they start getting annoying and start dancing in tie dye in the streets, that's when people get upset. and isn't it our freedom of speech to tell you to get out if you don't like america? If you lived anywhere else, and complained that much, anyone would tell you to leave, even if it was your moms house. she would probably say, if you don't like it here then leave.

to relate to my earlier thought about potential canadian poll results, i am reassured that they would not be too different than the american poll results by a memory i have from my time living there. it relates to the fact that i cant remember how many times i had a canadian tell me that 'canada won the war of 1812' that statement my not be as bad as not being able to find your own country on a map, but its close.

When I was working the Sub- whistler, a kid came in, American like many there are in the summer, and ordered a sub. At the cash counter, he held up a few twonies and asked my how much they were worth, cause he didnt know how much money he had. Its not like it says 2 dollars right on the coin itself or anything.

and if youve got an english teacher telling you that spelling is obsolete, you might consider ignoring that teacher. its a presentation issue. no one takes you seriously on here. do you know why? its about 90% due to your spelling, and 10% due to content. theres lots of people who post stupid things, but you stand out because of the fact that your fingers refuse to hit the right keys on the keyboard. and why not try and spell correctly? what will it hurt to try and improve on an aspect of your life? the only thing you have to loose is your reputation as a terrible typist, and as someone who lacks a fundamental grasp of the english language.
