American Public school system is honestly terrible at teaching reading and vocabulary type things. i went to private school until this year, and im not saying that your dumb if you went to a public school, but the vacab book i have this year is the same as the one i had last year, and the vocab tests are WAY easier. it just needs som more funding...

i know im basing my statement on vocab tests. if you have a good vocabulary, you SHOULD be able to figure out how to pronounce more words. but maybe i should back it up by talking about the kids in my class that are SOPHOMORES and still cant read basic english. or maybe the Seniors in my brothers english class that have trouble telling the difference between verbs and adjectives. i never said every public school was "shitty", but there are plenty out there, and of course you public school gets more funding, because private schools dont get government funding! . and yes, i was in the "dumbass" standard class due to the fact that i prefer not to have my life consumed by homework. But that doesnt make me a dumbass, unless of course a cumulative 3.9 GPA is on dumbass level...
