so, is it "duh-kyne"

or "duh-keen"??

It rhymes with line. It's actually not Hawaiian, it's Hawaiian pidgin, and it's a corruption of "the kind". So it's closer to English than Hawaiian.

It's "day-kine" I know a guy who works for them,that's how he pronounces it. One guy I heard said "dah-kin-eh"
