i apologize for any spelling errors i made in the title of this thread.

how do you say these companies:

(the words after are company name rhyme with the company name in that pronunciation)

orage as in mirage

orage as in porridge

anon as in cannon

anon as in baton

siver as in weaver

siver as in sliver

ive heard all of thses pronounced differently which ones are right?

agreed.

how do you say es, like the skateboard show company.

is it sss like just how you say the letter S. or do you say both letters E S

well i know orage is right cause thats how they say it at the orage masters. Anon im not sure but i've always heard it way and saying it like cannon sounds weird. Siver im guessing cause people kept saying silver and then it turned into siver.

yea haha i always end up saying company names wrong...

i thought siver was sih-ver not sigh-ver but i was wrong

i used to say or-rage not o-raj..the orage masters corrected me on that one

for jibij i used to say jiby-jay not jib-idge as in fridge

i said anon like cannon..i still dont know the right way to pronounce it

haha and i still say all these wrong a lot and have to correct myself

we need like the owners of the company to tell us cause if we all try it ourselves no one will believe each other

i hate it when people pronounce sobe sobie, due to the lays of pronounciation the o is supposed to be an "o" sound, which in turn makes the "e" silent... god its just irritating

This is the way I've always said them:

Orage: "ore-raj"

Anon: "an-non"

Siver: "sigh-ver" (long "I" sound not like silver or sliver)

Dynastar: "die-nah-star"

anon as in anonymous-what i say

orage as in mirage-also what i say

blizzard as in bli zahrd-again what i say

dynastar as in deen uh star- i say die nah star

siver as in sigh ver- and i say siver asin sliver

and one more that was mentioned- giro- i say jyro or w/e

This is totally not related to skiing but do any drummers out there know how to pronounce Meinl, as in Meinl cymbals? I think I got it but that L at the end is making me wonder

its siver asin sliver, one of my brothers friends knows the owner of siver and thats how its supposed to be pronounced

According to two dynastar reps and a siver rep...

dynastar is dee-na-star. It's a French name.

Siver is s-eye-ver

s-I-ver sounds akward.

i used to say j-be-j for some reason for jibij but now i say jib-ij

bump. because i was entertained.

and i still hear different pronunciations for Anon, Siver, Dynastar, Blizzard, Giro, Kastle... etc

when will we learn?

All my friends say it like say-gah

But I'm pretty sure its pronounced sah-gah.

It's not Sega, it's Saga. I like to think that if the company name is an actual word in the dictionary it's probably pronounced the same way, but some like to be sneaky
