Am I allowed to promote my artwork (oil paintings) on newschoolers? like my facebook page and junk? im not really trying to sell anything. just trying to get my artwork and name out there. its real good and its super hard to get exposure. if not does anyone know a good way to do it?

Of course you can! In the past, we've only frowned upon ski companies/related advertisers making threads/news about their company but they didn't just buy normal ads with NS. These days we're much more relaxed about it and something that's not related to skiing is definitely good to go my dude.
 
You should make a thread where you let people suggest ideas for paintings. You choose the ideas you like, paint them, and post them in the thread.

Probably a stupid question, but I guess its better to ask than get fucked later. The company I work for sells passes to college students in WNY and hosts a few events a year. If I/we were to spread the word about those events in regionals would that be frowned upon?
