Progression.

*I have used the searchbar and though there are threads about progression, none of them go to the extent of information that I would like to know. They just ask about one trick to another not from the beginning to later on (there really is no end).

I am newer to skiing, and I have been doing very well so far. I am going to get into park next season(mostly just jumps), and I was wondering what you think I should start with and go on from there.

Tell me if this is wrong, but this is what i have picked up so far, please add on and mix around and help me form a list so to speak. This is really just progression in jumps, not really reails.

1.Learn to Ski Switch

2.180

3.360

4.540

5.Backflip

6.Flatspin

7.Rodeo 1

8.Rodeo 3

9.
FrontFlip

10.Rodeo 5

11.Misty 1

So if you could add on,move around and just give general tips that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Uhhh there is no such thing as a rodeo 1. A rodeo 3 and flat 3 are essentially the same too. And there is no such thing as a misty 1

Do you think you will learn all of those tricks in one season? I would try to master each of those tricks before moving onto the next one, or at least feel comfortable doing them on more than just one jump. And one more thing, you are setting your goals way to high for just being a beginner.

^ I should have just replied to the post lol. Not thinking I guess, I have been replying to comments mostly and not the thread as a whole.

sorry for the double post

No, not in the slightest. It is just to know what i am going in to later on. As you can tell I do not know too much about park in general. I am just trying to learn more i guess.

I dont think the best way to progress your skiing is to make a list of things you want to acomplish. I think you should decide what you want to do next based on what is inspiring you at the time, but you have to start small. If you just take it one day at a time, get inspired, and ski because you love it, progression will just come.

Hey read GrahamGould's comment, it explains perfectly one of the things I was going to tell you. (the rest of this won't make sense until you read his comment) The list that you made will definitely change, it might get bigger, smaller, not change, change with tricks but not size, but really once you start your opinions will change.
