Well Thursday was my last day of my first year in park. Yes i know this will be a big claim thread, but i didnt learn anything worthy of claim so here goes. These are all the tricks i can think of that I learned this year.
grabbed 360sfrontside 270 out (box)backside 270 out (box)pretzel 270 out (box)ski slide (box and rail)grabbed 180sflat ground 360s270 on (wood rail in my backyard)ride on switch (boxes and wood rails)switch 180sswitch 360s
Decent first year in park, i know i suck but theres always next season!!

basically 90 on right foot forward, halfway down the rail swtch to left foot forward, so mebe backside switch up, then backside 270 out

That's pretty good man, I have been skiing park for 7 years and I still can't hit jumps switch too well haha. Why did your season end so early though?

yeah i kinda suck at hitting jumps switch to, i was doing them on like 10 foot table tops, and the season ended because it got warm and rained and i live in southern Michigan

last year i couldnt even cork or hit jumps switch. my biggest spin was a hucked 540..

this year i got switch cork 7s and rodeo 5s. left cork 9s and unnatural cork 7s . as well as all other flips natural/unnatural rodeos, lincolns, cork 5s.

then for rails the best i could do was hit them and i landed 1 270 out.

this year i got pretzels on hand rails, britneys, k fed, back to back, and blind/ front 630 out..

not too good on rails yet though. im pretty inconsistent.

im working to go to windells this summer to try dubs if i cant get to a big enough jump by the time the season ends..

Park wise- Learned to hit rails that are not flat.

On the actual mountain im way the hell better in powder now, and dropping my first 15 footer. And I guess skinning up my first mountain back in early season.

Snowboarded ALL my life, first year stepping on skis, my progression was:

Three 540s

3s

grabbed 1

switch on to boxes

ski slide rails

switch up

front 270 out

blind 270 out

went for 270 on (died terribly)

and well, learning to ski is the biggest hahaha.

my first hit in the park was a straight air. then i did a double cork 10. it pretty much set the mood for the rest of the day.

Second Year of Park..

So far got back my 3's with grabs.

Landed a few 5's.

Blind and sometimes front 270's out.

That's about it hahah.

Skiing powder is a much better experience then hucking yourself on a 40+ foot booter to sometimes ice...

cork 7s

grabbed 5s

shifty 3

pretzel 4

kfeds on c box - dub kinks - flat boxes

blind 270

blind 4

blind s/w on kinks

switch boxes - switch ups - pretzels

all freeheel

First year I could do 360's and Skier slide flat boxes, sort of.Second year I can..
180 - 900 off of jumps. Backflip. Cork 540 + 720.270 off rails.Frontside switchupsAnd I'm hoping to be able to throw a lincoln loop in there by the end of the season.

First year of skiing here:

Front 270 off

Blind 270 off

Almost 270s on

1s

3s

Frontflips (off a ledge into powder..)

Not too bad in my opinon. I want to get blind 4s and switchups before the end of the season.

Park has no jumps so only rails this year. Front 2 out, back 2 out, front 4 out, front swaps, back swaps, backflips, frontflips, stomping 35 foot cliffs, throwing 1s of cliffs, hand drag 1s and 3s, nose butter 3, tail butter 3

Welp, in the 5 days I have skied park... (its been snowy or ive been photographer)
I can now slide a box and spin on a box. Was hoping to learn a switch up/blind switch up today, but doesnt look like thats happening
did my first zero spin it was very very small... but my skis left the ground.
180switch 180
almost have 3's dialed
not afraid of step downs anymore but the biggest i've done is like 15 feet
finally hitting the 25 ft table top
Lots of random grabs and shiftys.

I'm feeling pretty good for 5 days of park...
Given I've been straight airing jumps for 2 years now... and successfully did a few boxes last year, but I never really tried doing anything until this year.

I have until May though.. Pretty excited for what I can still learn this season.

i still have one more week for spring break so i will be working my ass off tryign more stuff but this is what i have so far. SO this is my first year really getting serious in the park first i had to get mental pussy-ness out the window then ...i got 360's spinning on boxes very sloppy 270 off's on railsbut im going to COC this summer so im expecting to progress alot more then i did this season.and then even more next season.

First year on twins

3s (landed second try)

switch 1s

Hit boxes and rails switch

2s out of rails and boxes (stomped first try)

Last year i didn't hit an urban style or kinked rail, this year i sessioned an urban style dfd.

We only had a 5 foot jump this year so i couldn't do much. and i skied twice per week at most

well its my second yea skiing, and i spent half my time at the hill on a board as well,, but on skiis this year i lerned:

1) Safety 3s

2) Safety 5s

3) unnatural foot onto rails

4) switch onto rails

5) change up on rails

6) front flips

7) handrag 3s

8) flatground 3s

9) 7 on boxes

10) hippy killers

i would post everything i learned on a board as well but this is a ski forum so i wont

360 safety, 180 safety, zero spin on a 10 ft jump, attempted switch 180, fs/bs 270 out, 270 on box, switch up on box, and attemped handdrag all first year of park

Lolz.

I hardly learned anything this year. I didn't get a chance to ski with my buddies that ski park at all, so the only thing I learned are nosebutter 3's, carved 360's (really smooth and ultra cool), carved 180's, some grabs and I can ski switch like a motherfucker now.

I would go skiing with my friends that are really noob compared to me (I'm a ski teacher), so there would be no fun in shredding groomers with them regular, so I just did it switch.
