Progression Ski Camps - next year

yeah totally going for mammoth. i wouldnt do a camp a blue. tremblant again sure. but mammoth in the lead

No...do one in Alberta, because that's where I'll be, and I most definitely won't have the cash to make a trip to Cali.

odessa- ill be living in edmonton in august for the school year, if there is a camp at mammoth u can split costs with me.and come out with me

personally i live on the east coast and i'd rather spend the money and go to mammoth then spend a lot of money to go to blue or colorado...Definately Mammoth or Tahoe

 
it'd probably be easier to organize something like that in Canada...for insurance reasons (lots of Canadian coaches etc.....) but an intrawest resort is usually pretty helpful with that...Whis would be all over it

well im not a girl but i think this is a great thing so im gonna give input if its alright with you fine young ladies.... i think you should have an east coast camp and a west coast camp.... like one at tremblant or blue mountain and a west coast one like at whistler or even mammoth but i think whislter would be better and start adverstising a little bit earlier.... thanks

yeah but the night life is way better at tremblant. I think that wherever it is, there should be a village, like tremblant or whistler...

good call on the east/west coast camps... that way no one has to travel too far- would it be cheaper to have the camps in canada? I'm interested in this but if its in the states or out East I don't think I can afford it...

 
The camo sounds like such a good time..I wasnt able to mak it this year but I'd love to go next...if the camp was for longer then I could afford to travel the distance (i live in Maine) but for just 2 days it wouldnt work..my vote's for mammoth or whistler thouhg

You guys should check out Lake Louise in Banff too. Good park, and a great staff. Alot cheaper than Whistler or Mammoth too.

I think that this year camp was great because it was in a bg event, party were organized, and im sure it helped...you should find a place where htere would be the same kind of event...

I would def. go for one if it was at Blue (my new home) or Tremblant... Whistler is almost to much of a hike for me (since next winter I think I'm spending 4 weeks in Florida)

I live in CO and would have gone to the one in Tremblant this year if it would have been longer. It's hard to justify the travel costs for that short of a camp. It would be sweet to see several longer sessions in several locations. Maybe try and work them with school breaks, so winter break, spring break, that kind of thing. I'd love to spend part of either of those breaks at a camp but nothing's really out there during those times now.

yea im from vt and i never see womens hitting jumps. and as mc said the last person i saw hit one was her and she did a japan. she also tried a 360 but fell on her head, i thought she died.

yay progression!

i think...that one at blue say over christmas break...and then one at mammoth in the late spring...because that's when the best snow is at both ends of the ski spectrums. mammoth is one of those weiiiird places that still has snow in late may...

so anyways, that's something to consider.
