Had to make a video of myself talking about something so imade this script about skiing probably really hard to read didn't proof read at all, and i couldn't get the font to be any smaller. StartFragment
Freesking has progressed from
a back flip and 720 winning the x games to now a nose butter triple cork
winning the gold in only a short decade. Freesking as evolved from just spins
to get the grab down and having the smoothes style. Just landing backseat can
cause you to not get a spot on the podium. Not only has the skiing gotten
better with athletes pushing the envelope but the jumps and half pipes are more
unique and bigger for athletes to go bigger and do more tricks. Such as the
cubed pipe that Red Bull made for Simon Dumont so that he could show you how
far you can change a simple half pipe and still do tricks that only pros can do.
Half pipes used to only be 18 feet but now they are 22 feet and soon they will
be making a 24-foot half pipe. Athletes use to only do single flips in a half
pipe a couple years ago when now they have to have at least three doubles in a
run. But you may ask why does this matter why does anyone who doesn’t ski have
to care about this. It’s not exactly about skiing but the culture of the sport
how it’s grown and becoming a ligament sport and market for people and
business. As the sport grows with all these new tricks and new events like
getting in the Olympics the sport is now worldwide and has a good amount of
kids in a new generation that want to compete in this sport and will become a
part of the culture of kids like basketball and football. The sport of
freeskiing is also a worldwide sport unlike football and like soccer a sport
that is more worldwide generates more money and is more popular and so can
freeskiing. You may ask what about places that it doesn’t snow like in Africa,
or southern states in America. Well many places are building indoor ski areas
that you can ski all year at. The UK has built many of these and you may ask
wouldn’t kids who are trying to go pro will have a harder time than kids who
ski on snow. Not really because they can ski just as much or more than kids who
ski on real snow the only. Like the 2013 winter X games slopestyle winner James
Woods who hadn’t skied on real snow until the year before. Some places like
snow flex in Virginia that has been a huge scene for the sport of freeskiing
and they never get snow in Virginia what they do is they ski on a synthetic
snow kind of like a Astroturf that is water down so you can go just has fast as
if you were on real snow. So the sport of freeskiing can be played all around
the world and can make as much as any other sport with big sponsors like Jeep,
Red Bull, Under amour and many more. So the reason why you should care if the
sport progress is because more and more kids will take on the culture and so
the sport will create more revenue and maybe be a big part of how people make
money and what kids do.
