Hey, I've been working on this website for a few weeks and I was wondering what you guys think? Do you like it and what can I do to make it better?
 
Good idea but I would like to see more pointers and tips on how to do different things. Right now it's more like a dictionary. And also, freeskiing is more then parks

dude, chill the fuck out. This is why I'm putting it up here, to get peoples thoughts and suggestions. a lot of the stuff on there are things I've been told by other people. if you got a better explanation then please share.

hey man i like the idea, but a lot of the tips (especially the rails guide) seemed to look a lot like what others had said in the trick tip cult, like maddecent's rail guide thing, and also the grab guide in there. i am not saying you copied it, but i would just make sure that if you do use somebody else's explanation's that you give them credit. good idea, but like somebody said earlier you should throw in some videos and pictures
 
yeah, I used it for the basis of a one or two of them. I'll be sure to give credit for them as well, thanks for the advice.
 
this. its kind of a long shot but you could pm all the pros on ns theyre tips for one specific trick and then on the website each trick would have advice from a different pro
 
Nose Mute Grab
A regular mute grab but with the nose of the same ski being grabbed by the other hand.Is it me or are they saying two hands on one ski?

You should have made sure to get the general descriptions and how-to's correct before publishing this on a public forum. Your descriptions are fairly skewed, and some of them in the trick tips will send the skier onto a really weird axis that you won't land happily on...

Just saying. Before you publish anything, make sure you get your facts straight.

 
yeah, i was really just putting it on here to check the idea of it and get some suggestions. most of it is stuff i've been told by skiers i know and it definitely needs development. just checked out your mixtape too, its pretty awesome.
 
I think ur website is a great idea. But you need more tricks, descriptions and a good idea would be to have vids/picks showing the tricks. But the webside is new, and you will probably make it better.

The look of the webside should be a little better.

If you have a good looking website, more people will tend to like it, wich is good for both the users and you. And also, listen to complains, tips and feedback, it makes the users more happy.

If you have no first hand experience or knowledge with tricks, it seems like you probably shouldn't try to explain them to others. I'm not trying to hate, but this is not a good idea. As mentioned above most of it can be found on here and other sites, from a much more reliable source. It's half assed at best, and you seem to be slightly clueless on a lot of basic tricks. If you want to do something with your life, I suggest you do something else, this is not working out.

Actually, after reading through most of the tips, i'm gonna change my wording a little bit. Stop. Just stop. The above quote is just flat out wrong, and so are most of the other tips. You are failing miserably at this, please stop it immediately. That is all.
 
nice idea, you should add more color to the page instead of just black & white!
 
This one got to me in particular......it seems like OP thinks that a front 270 out is a 270 off to landing forward, and a back 270 out is a 270 to landing switch.
Honestly man, this just isn't your cup of tea and I'd venture that there's thousands of kids that are better suited and equipped to make this happen. Sorry dude....it's just really, really poorly done. I suspect that you're very young, so I feel bad.
 
seems like you dont know exactly what you are talking about there...and it seems as if you cant do half the tricks you are trying to explain......and im sure you copied a bunch of that

Most of tricks and descriptions were pulled right out of the trick tip cult, way to plagiarize something that two guys worked extremely hard on.

Listen guys, this is a very early version to basically test the idea of the site, I have already said that I will give credit where it is due when I update the site which will be over the next week. If you really don't like it then don't bump the thread as it only get the site more hits
 
theres a lot of errors so yah a lot of people are gonna hate and to some extent it deserves it, but im sure if they were all fixed this would me somehting cool to post every time someone new here asks the inevitable - yo whats a mute grab? whats the diff between a cork and a bio etc etc

hahaha, this piece of shit you call a site deserves to be known by everyone for it's worthlessness. imagine if some poor kid read your trick tips and took them seriously? you'd have a wrongful death lawsuit on your hands.
