ok, i was having a conversation with my friend henrik about the 1242 teaser thingy, and he said that boyd had new armadas, and i thought there weren't any new armadas for awhile, so he said 'maybe they're proform', hhmmm, now that confused me cause isn't proform where you get shit from the company on a discount?...so i told him it was prototype, and he continually said that proform was like a test model

so who's right?, me or henrik?

proform/promark is when your resort, or smoetimes the company sells you shit discounted to get the ski on the mountain. kinda like an advertissment.

to make it a little nore confusing, sometimes with proform you can get advance released skis. This most often happens to Reps. They can often get skis at some point in time in the season prior to the official release (i.e. I got to ski the 2003-2004 Dynastar SkiCross 10 this past winter, even though it was not released yet). Also, a lot of time when this happens the graphics/topsheets can be different from when they do get released.

Furthermore, a friend of mine used to be somewhat (not fully) sponsored snowboarding, and I remember him getting prototype boards from his sponsor.

Did I add enough confusion?

proform is like...gorilla steeze, or jon steeze, or any pro steeze...as long as you got their form, you got proform
