Production quality of the x games.

Maybe this has already been stated, but does it feel like the production quality of the x games really sucks this year? Just camera cuts not being on time, mics not working, etc. I get it, it’s not an easy event to film like a basketball game, but it feels like for for how big the x games are it should be a little higher quality.

Sometimes I think Newschoolers is very pessimistic and this thread plays right into that, but I think it stems from a place of nostalgia. X games was sooo sick growing up, comps used to be so dope and it’s hard to see what they have become.

Also if I hear “can you believe that was shot on an iPhone?!” one more time…..
 
A step up from Dew Tour at least. Camera man was filming the moon while riders were dropping.
 
The anti bullying interviews are so forced and awkward because of how it’s edited and the type of questions they are asking. They did nothing so polish these interviews and just make our athletes look stupid.

Also, the way they plug the iPhone is on par with what I’d expect from a group of high schoolers. There is zero subtly or transition when they plug, it’s sounds so lazy and unprofessional.

I was watching with people who don’t ski (we’re in the south). They were laughing at the XGames.

Honestly with that 720p stream it might be actually filmed from an iphone
 
Hey at least we all have something to laugh about together at the end of the day. Am I right?
