So this is directed to anyone that has taken a operations class...not sure if there are many people out on NS with any insight on this but ill give it a try.
Its a problem that has to do with Little's Law
ADMV office serves 600 customers per 8-hour day. It takes a total of 45 minutes to be served. How long is the waiting line, on the average?

 
I know that R= 600 customers/8 hr day, 600 customers every 480minutes, or 1 customer every .8 minutes and that T= 45 min
so to find I=RT so would I mutiply .8(45) to get 36 minutes??
then the whole process time would be 36+45= 81 minutes??
 
I thought this was going to be an OR question and got excited about the level of geekiness on the site. I am now disappointed. Good luck though!
