Since we finally put the long awaited Sloth Tee in the store, we figured why not start round 2 of the design contest?!

The winner will receive the shirt they designed along with 2 other Newschoolers shirts, 1 mouse pad of their choice, an NS bandana and a ton of stickers!

There's fewer rules for this time around so you can design just about

anything but hurry because the contest ends November 8th.

word where can I get the new logo that isnt in illustrator format. well i guess i could use the one at the top left of the site but any others?
 
click the home button. they have the link for the logo, how to use the logo, and the template in .eps or .jpg
 
wondering if this is allowed, since the text is as tall as the logo... but i think it would look sick as a tall tee.

It needs more detail and complexity, or I may just leave the branches like that. It's gonna come out as a tree at some point. Get it? Growth of NS and growth of trees. AS you can see, I was letting traveling circus load as I did this.
 
come on .. thehe, isnt it obvious? staying up on mountain for such a long time, that you get snowblind - ah fuck it your right its too far away ... if you have to explain it its crap. haha
 
We're going to open the poles tomorrow for you guys to vote. Lets get some more entries in there and if your going to summit more then one entry try to limit it to 2 maybe 3 max.

One little thing I wanted to point out if you post the same shirt in different colors it won't increase your chance of winning, because in the end we're looking for the best design!

I can't seem to do it digitally, or in the style I want. It needs to emulate the new NS logo's style by being smooth and clean. I was thinking about having branches spawn form the old ns logo, but that may look weird. With all of the not snow we have in NJ I really have no reason not to try stuff though. I think my original looks like string cheese now.

sketches look dope man, but i know what your saying about trees, i have tried to have them in other designs i have done but they are sooo hard to translate into Illustrator

^ haha head-trunked elephant ... the idea is nice though - maybe it could work if you turn the face-drawing a little bit upwards, that the teeth pass the trunk were the horizontal part of the n starts.

 
hahaha, this whole contest is absolutely ridiculous ... there is really not a single t in the top rated area, that I would wear or buy - those are all jokes. No one takes that contest serious anymore. If I think of designs, that came out a year ago in these contests - there used to be really sick ones. I dont talk about making the graphics perfect or what, I know, that most of these designs are made in paint, and thats no offense. But most of the ideas just suck in my opinion.
 
well my idea was half funny/half serious so I'm not offended, but you didn't do anything besides type a novel bitching about shit, get a life
 
haha. funny that one of the few designs I liked was yours ... But jeh you are not really right with "didnt do anything" - I have also three shirts in the selection and yes I know, that this line will pobably bring some sentences like "your shirts are also f* ugly and such" but thats life.
