so i've got this massive research paper due tomorrow that i've known about since september. it's now february 11th, and i'm just getting started.. any hints for me?? why does procrastination always take control?!

 
Hopefully you already know something about your topic, find a minimum of 8-12 sources, like journal articles, books, websites, whatever, and give them a QUICK skim. Then PLAN IT PLAN IT PLAN IT. Write out an outline, and stick to it. And you'll probably be up all night, so take little breaks. You'll need them. Starting it is the worst part.

my best advice is log off ns.com right now otherwise you'll be flipping through the forum all night instead of writing your paper. Trust me, no one here can help. it happens to me all the time, just start writing and you might get done.

1- get off everything online that could possibly disturb you, get it out of your system. then put on some sort of relaxing music, either the classical stuff to get you in the mood to work or just some relaxing stuff to really get you ready for this. Then you must keep a positive attitude during it, even if you know its crap just keep telling yourself its good and you know its gonna be ok. Worked for me for my last research paper on the sanity of Hamlet.

 
holy shit! youve had it since september and its due tomorrow, now thats some hardcore procrastination, and I thought I was bad, your probibly gonna have an all nighter. Well, good luck

 
first of all....make sure your printer is working! last night i was up till 1:30 writing my paper then it took me an hour and a half to get the printer going (which never really worked i just gave up and printed it at school this morning)

haha.. ohhh fuck. so far i've got about 2 pages. the topic is canadian content in boradcasting. i dunno, i think it'll turn out alright.. the main problem is that i've also got a philosophy midterm tomorrow. needless to say, i'll be sparking a large joint tomorrow evening. i suppose now i'll take the advice and log off everything that is creating a distraction. sionara all!

DONT' WORRY i used to do this everytime, just make up a bunch of sources just jot down a bunch of fake shit, go on the net copy down a bunch of shit that looks important and make it your own words, jut move some words around a bit and just fuck with it a little. works everytime. or just dont' show up tomorrow and say you were sick and that usually can get you an extra day.
