Problems printing...

i got a new printer at work (its an HP) and i installed the printer onto my computer but my computer will not find the printer. i mean, the computer knows its connected to the printer and i can get into the setup and help screen but i cannot actually select the printer. any ideas?

have you restarted the computer?

go to preferences and click on printers and see if you can add it manually there.

did it install the hp device manager?
