alright so naturally i spin leftside although when i spin switch i have a tendancy to look over my right shoulder and spin that way. ive tried to correct this although everytime i spin switch left i catch my edge or its just super uncomfortable.

thing is with rightside spins all my grabs are gone and i cant spin as much with it so i'd like to be able to spin leftside. ive heard this is a common problem but do you have any solutions?

thanks

i had the same problem too. i am pretty sure that you are railling right foot foward and when you hit a rail switch ,you look over your right shoulder?now the main thing you need to do, is to stretch your left side . theirs a buntch of exercise to do for it . what helped me a lot for stretching, i use to go to sleep on my stomack whit my head looking left . this is not a thing you can learn copying some one else , you got to ride switch looking over the left shoulder has much as you can. from the lift to the park , from one rail to an other , from the park to the lift etc. an you'll seee , one day it will unlock an you'll be able to switch spin what ever side you want...
let me know if you got questions...have funpeace

oh ya bro its one of those things, your going to have to go back to the basics. just think like you have never skied switch and are starting all over again. Start small and dont cheat. Kinda like in video games where you pick the wrong weapon, and find out you have to start all over. Well in the end it makes you one hell of a warrior. Dont think about having a side, its just a mind game you end up playing with your self.

hey guys i have little problem when i spin switch. I spin left and i dont really have trouble looking over my shoulder but im always scared wen im about to jump (i am probobly tromatized because i broke my arm spinning switch...) .So yeah I'm always scared to cut. Is there any tips you could give me to stop being scared or just the proper way to spin switch (ex: when do i start spining etc.) thanks guys!

oh man this happened to me. my guess for most people it's from spinning left whenever doing 180's and spotting the landing looking over the right shoulder so that's how you learn to ski switch.

How do you stay balanced when you spin from switch takeoff? Is the way you pop different cause half the time I would do cork 180's and land on my back.

I have the same problem and thanks for the tips but the other day i saw a guy do a switch 180 looking over his right shoulder but spin left. Is this something that I should possibly think about trying or just keep trying too look over the other shoulder?

this is called blind side spinning its a bit harder but gives you a lot of rotation.you could try it and ya its sick but for some people its the only way thay can spin switch. but theres no need to learn it unless you want to
