Problem with 540

just shut the fuck up

OP, first off, if you are releasing on almost every landing on every trick, take your skis to a shop and have them test the bindings to make sure they are releasing correctly and to make sure the forward pressure is set properly. From there, if you are still coming out all the time, turn the din up a half turn at a time until you stop ejecting for no reason.

How ever, if its only releasing on 5's, then you are probably just landing really sketchy each time and blowing out, in which case do not turn your din up and don't land sketchy

I would get your forward pressure and DIN checked out. 90kg you could possibly go higher, but it does get a bit sketch. Im only about 80kg and ride at 14. That said, you should try to land a bit more on your feet. It looks like in the video that your weight gets really far forward on your landings, and that will put a lot of strain on the bindings.

i'll agree that randomly upping din isn't usually a smart plan, but a 9 is not high enough for a 200 pound guy doing switch landings

I am 215lb and 5'11" and I have found that 11 works pretty well most of the time. However, def get your forward pressure checked if it has been a while since you have had them in the shop. If that looks good start upping your DIN by .5 here and there until you don't randomy release. that said, if this is only happening on your 5's then its your landing, its really off to the front.

well from your video it looks like its you not the bindings. your face is pretty much dragging on the snow when you land

im not saying just crank it from 9 to 12, if youre convinced the din is the problem just what i would do is mabe after each failed try turn it up half a mark until it hangs in there
