the noly pro's who's style i don't like is Kristi Leskin and Boronowski. BUt they aint too big the rest of them all have mad styles, other words they wouldn't be pro.

not that i really want to get in on this, but Mickael, Candide, Tanner, and Jon are probably the 4 most amazing riders on this planet. they are unbelievably consistent, they stomp everything as if they never left the ground, they are always one step above the game, everything they do is clean and perfect with their own unique style that makes every other rider stop and watch them and think, 'holy fuck i wish i could do that' and that includes all the other 'pro' skiers as well. Don't get me wrong, there are so many people who have amazing and individual style (such as raps, pollard, crichton, skogen, jf, vinnie, turpin, cr, belanger, larose, etc etc etc) but in my mind those 4 are like the four horsemen of the sport. they are always in the spotlight, they do everything with the best style, and they do it all without talking shit, because their level of riding does their shit talking for them.

that was an article in a magazine that tries to put their own image on the sport and fucks everything up royally. if you actually knew the kid in real life you would understand what i'm talking about. some people go out there and claim this and that and talk themselves up and other people down, all he did was give some answers to freeze to some questions that they asked, and they were mostly bad questions at that. he was just venting some of his thoughts on the ski industry.

and mickale is my homeboy and i love the kid and he has his own style both in skiing and life that makes you realize how much better it is to be yourself and respect things for what they are. he's not some wannabe ghetto 'thug' if that's what you are thinking.

 
I still think the sickest trick i have ever seen is JF's 1080 at the 2000 gravity games. Even though he kinda of crashes it is a really slow rotation with a perfect safety. I still think that that jump was the biggest competition jump to date.

Who cares how the pro's style compares to one another? All of them have better style than us, (accurate generalization) so who are we to talk?

Jonny M's just a hucker? a lot of us cant even do a cork 7 or a dinner roll on a table, let alone in the bumps.

Dash Longe is my vote for soon to be huge.

I think that it depends largly on how the jump, for a style to show, some booters it's easy to throw stuff, and some it isn't, remember that many of the hits used for film, are ideal conditions, and made bigger than the normal hits at your regual crappy parks, I believe that style is just shit you throw down to look good on flim. The whole idea is to look big, and smooth.

Often camera men don't get enought props, cauze they have just as much a part to making shit look good on film.

Im pretty sure that some non pros have just as good of style as some pros, if not better. I find that a lot of pros got to be pros by doing big hucked tricks, cause skiing is still a young sport thats how it is/was, and only now (the last year or so style has become more important). Yet some of the non pros may have been working on style from day one cause they might not be in to throwing hucks, or maybe they just dont want to get hurt as easily.

For anyone who says style isnt important, then they are a little on the dumb side, unless they want skiing to become rollerblading or something along those lines.

Grunow's style is pretty sick, I like his segment in Second Generation (alley oop flatspin 540 mute, hell yea), hmm I don't think mercon has too bad of style really, I think his upper dspin rotations are just what is shown in the videos, but some of the corked stuff I've seen from comps he's done looks pretty nice.
