pro model vs. 1080?

WHats the difference between the salomon pro model and the 1080? I heard they changed the 1080 boots name to pro model but then I see both on some website looking almost exactly the same but with different colored buckles. Is there like different flex with the 2 or something?

The Pro has a flex index of 95 and the 1080 has a flex index of 85. That is what I remember when I got my Pro's like 4 years ago.
