Yep title says it all, I'm looking for a Ski coach that can help me improve my tricks! I live in Richmond Hill, ON. I've been looking for some on the net but I haven't got much results. I'm a freeskier age 16!
a coach can tell u shit and help u on ur form but for me and i assume most of NS, you gotta push yourself. Get a group of friends. Much cheaper and more fun
I suggest that you may look for some ski vacation trip websites and ask on their customer support or any of their travel specialist. They could give you best ski packages with customized inclusions of your choice. They can also give you appropriate infos about enrolling on a ski class or a personal trainer if you'd like. You can see sample here Winter Weekend Getaway
Coaches don't really do much except pressure you into sending tricks, they do help with form and help you and everything but youtube tutorials and ns is always here to help and is cheaper
in address to everyone who says a private coach will just pressure you into tricks, yeah this is true for some but for the good ones they will teach you how to throw it safely and do it properly. the price is yes pricey but if you consider how much medical bills will be if you crash its worth it.
I compete in big mt and switched off a team and into the private coaching because i found that on the team it was yeah "go bigger dude" but with my private coach its alright do this this this then try going bigger (far more personalized) and i stick it safely every time. After wrecking before my private coach and getting a 10k hospital bill that's worth it.
Great to see that you are keen to improve your skiing and take it to the next level, few things to consider however.
A ski coach won't make a lot you better. You really need to push yourself and improve on your own accord. Also try and find a bunch of mates you could ski with - skiing with friends really does improve your skiing and it's a lot more fun than with your coach! Maybe consider looking for a local freestyle squad you could sign up for. I've always found groups are much better to ski with. Coaches however to help a fuck tonne with knowing if you are ready or not for a trick (they've been there and done that) and also add structure and direction with your daily skiing and goals.
