I'm 5' 7", 145 lbs, expert skier. I am currently on Rossi S7's (188), Dynastar Legend Pro (176), Volkl Katana (183). I'm looking for a ski I can do the resort and tour with. Interested in the Husume, probably 181 or 188 cm, or the 181 Wren. I haven't skied either one, but that didn't stop me from buying any of the skis I have. Please help me.

Because of the rocker, they ski short. Actually, I much prefer the 188 over the 176. The 88's are much more stable at speed.

I'm 5'8" 150 and have the 191 Wren. It loves to ski fast and hard, so for most resort skiing, I'd recommend the 181. They're pretty light though, so I'm sure they'd be a decent touring ski too. Based on your quiver, I'd say that the 181 Wren would fit perfectly.

its my third season on my wrenegades, have over 100 days on these skis probably and I love them. their holding up great and ski amazing. You can't go wrong with these....get them.

If you're going to compare anything in the ON3P lineup to the Husume, you should be comparing them to Vicik's

agreed

plus, they will tour better then the wrens and ski smaller so for someone your size they will be easier to control.(take it from someone who owns both wrens and viciks)

Vicik might be a better ski to compare against, but the Wrenegade can slay everyday stuff in the PNW really well. The Husume is a little dead feeling in my opinion, most priors seem to be. The Wrenegade (and Vicik) are quite poppy and lively, but will take whatever you can give them when charging.

Plus, holy fuck are Priors expensive.

They are not meant to spin, although I'm sure backies on em are sweet. The mounting point on em is pretty far back, so...

Thanks, everyone. I was leaning toward ON3P's before starting this thread. Y'all convinced me that is the way to go. You didn't let me down.
