Price of IKON vs epic pass

my boss skis at snowbasin and he said its noticeably more busy this year with the IKON pass vs Epic pass last year, I simply disagree, theyre both evil.

Why would he by lying? Who in Utah picks PC and Canyons over the shorter drive to LCC and unlimited Brighton and Solitude?

None of those mountains are restricted they could all expand and build more lifts and bigger parking lots and you can connect all of LCC/BCC and PC hills easily. But why do that when you can waste twice as much on a Gondola everyone will drive past?

Just a shame they haven't increased supply to meet demand. How the fuck are there no new lifts (expanded terrain not replacing a fixie with a quad) at Alta and Snowbird in the last 20 years everywhere you look you see ski tracks that someone skinned up to?

im talking about snowbasin, they went from epic to ikon this year and it made a huge difference.

the drive to LCC is not shorter than PC.

the gondola has nothing to do with the resorts, its UDOT.

You cant just "build a lift" PC tried to replace two lifts this last summer and they got shutdown because 4 random park city residents filed a law suit, its insanely difficult to expand the resorts. Snowbird is building a new lift in mineral basin, but its taking years to get past the red tape.
