Preventing Injuries (ACL?)

is anyone doing anything to prevent injuries this season? Im terrified of it actually happening, if anyone is also like this what have you been doing. Would ACL rehab exercises work? do it up.

Stretch and keep you leg muscles strong. You could also wear knee braces if you're really worried about it.

dont think rehab exercises would work but like he said just wear a brace if your that worried

yeah my ankle is so fucked up from skiing, i really dont see how im gonna be able to walk when im old. Just eat a bunch of calcium and milk n shit

yea i just had my acl reconstructed on April 4 and i have just been going to the gym and shit...and yea i kinda worried about getting hurt again...because i have already fucked both of my knees up... but what ever happens happens (and my doctor said that knee braces dont even do anything for your acl, he said the best way is just to get it strong if that helps any)

yeah, just simple leg exercises weights not even needed and stretching most imprtantly. i tore my acl when i was 13 and i couldnt have an operation because of my growth plates. i had 3 months of physical therapy and i now have to wear an "over the counter" knee braced worth 850 dollars. it allows zero lateral movement in my knee but its hinged so ic an bend my leg lol dont let it happen to you

Usually Skiing or Ski Magazine has a preseason workout plan to prevent injuries. It's mostly stretching and low resistance training. I highly recommend checking it out
