Pretty Lights connection with skiing.

I've always had this vague idea that PrettyLights had a definitive connection with Newschoolers and Skiing as a whole.

He has a colab fitted with Jiberish, he's from Colorado and his songs started featuring in a lot of ski edits back in 09/10.

Can anyone expand on this?

when I was in boston at the jiberish store I had a great conversation with Pete Drago. Eventually, we got on the topic of pretty lights, and he told me that Derek Vincint Smith had been supportive and close to Jiberish from the start, and has rocked their apparel for years. Thats one of the reasons for the collab, I dont know about direct relations to skiing other than that, but I thought i would share my 2 cents.

yea actualy ur right on track man. derik of prettylights use to be a semi pro skier and wanted to origonaly make music with t hall but he unfotionatly wasnt rasta enough to hang so they kicked him outta the crew.
