both nights of pretty lights at red rocks this august are already sold out.. fucking stubhub bought 600 tickets and are selling them for $90 each. How can stubhub do this? Isn't it technically illegal to re sell tickets at a higher price?
It is illegal to set a term or condition of purchase that restricts the purchaser’s (StubHub) right to resell subscription/season tickets or hold onto some tickets while selling others
Dude, if anything, Colorado law supports what StubHub is doing.
scalpers have been around forever. its just way easier in this day and age. so frustrating to buy tickets to any event. ticketmaster/livenation/stubhub and all other ticket brokers are fucking crooks taking our money and laughing straight to the bank. fuck it gets me heated.
I know, but the thing is people in California wouldnt be buying 300 tickets for an event in Chicago because they wouldnt have a good medium to sell through. Now all they need to do is order and post and make profit
But they are playing with BSBD so.... your argument is invalid.
and the tickets sold out within 3 min on the presale days. I decided i'll just wait until it gets closer to the show and some of my friends can't go and ill buy their tickets and $90 is going to be cheap compared to what they are going to be.
90 dollars is wayy wayyyy to steep for me personally. thats like over 10 hours of work at min. wage. I'd never pay over 45 for a ticket, even for an epic as fuck show like pretty lights.
