Pretty bad calf/shin pain

so I sent a handdrag 3 too big and I went to a shitty flat landing. I fell because I was way too far backseat, but when I fell I landed way back on one of my tails, which basically pushed my boot forward and caused an extreme amount of pressure to flex on my calf/ shin area. I kind of felt my shin bone flex forward pretty hard where the boot ends, so now I got some nasty shin splint type of pain along my shin. Fortunately I don't think it's broken because there's no swelling at all. But I am limping around. Anyone get this before? any idea how serious of an injury this could be? I've had shin bang but this really was more than that.

could be lots of things ... shin problems in general are pretty serious... could be a stress fracture or a crushed bone fragment. Neither of these would be visable besides possible bruising. A friend of mine had compartment syndrome (shin splints x100) and has to get frequent surgeries beause it can cause clotting problems in your legs. Not good. If I were you I would rest those suckers and stay off them as much as possible and ice 20 on 20 off. Good luck !
