Pressure of filming

i dont know, but it seems like when im filming and trying to get some shots in desperately, i progress like 10x faster than just skiing alone. i know some people dont like it, but i think it helps you progress faster. anybody agree?

i would agree, but in that situation you are more likely to get hurt, youre goin for things you normaly wouldnt go for, not that its a bad thing

by the time the filmer gets to his spot, sets the shot up and you get ready for your drop, you could be halfway down the hill, if not all the way to the lift. Now if you do that on every feature you could imagine how much time you have lost. if you want to push yourself, push yourself, dont use the camera as an excuse to do somehting, if you do shit in front of the camera that you cant normally do whats the point? and you can never make something look good the first time you try it. and if it doesnt look good, why film at all?

progression should come from the personal want to get better, not so people can see how good you are. let that be your pressure.

its not that i want to show off or anything, its just that im really lazy otherwise and filming makes me buckle down, think of tricks to do that i want, get stoked, and gain confidence. otherwise i just normally chill at the hill, and chicken out, and then not try. i need to revise this, not under camera pressure, just any pressure.

yea, i completely understand that, im exactly the same way. haha

just thought i would give the 2 cents.
