Presses.!.

Presses are difficult for some, and easier for others therefore it will progress for the people that can do them, but some people just cannot press for some reason or another. These people will be left out in the cold, and maybe some day learn how to do basic presses.

they definitly look sick but all my skis are stiff as hell although i want a soft ski badly, they were fun as hell when i rode some fuji's tho

i love butters off jumps, like bibby does in skimatic and tj in msp this year, they look so ill, and i mean i can press, but i stil dont think i could do that shit, its just on another level

Griffin Cummings was pushing presses years ago. I learned them from him and now I do them all the time. I think its more fun than trying to spin 630 on pretzel 810 off or stuff like most kids are trying to do right now. Its cool to see the people who are good at that, but I'll keep to my presses and push rails in another direction.

i agree. you can only spin and switch up so much.

presses are the future, look at snowboarding eh?

Yeah, i could definitely see them being super fun. Just cause they'd be something different... not the same old, spin on, switch up, spin off.

agreed...and buttering , everything is gunna be butters and presses, i think small tricks with gnar amounts of steeze will be popular.

I love presses. and combining them with spinning would be really fun. IMO spinning like crazy on rails is stupid though....thats what jumps are for.

I disagree that spinning like crazy on rails is stupid. I personally like presses more, but a complete skier should be able to do both.

ya dude...like going from nosepress to a tailpress, or vise versa...that would be sick to see.

nollies , fakie ollies and unnaty stuff too , t dubs has shown us what can be done underfoot spinning on rails, and hes sick for that but techs still got ways to go.

i like to press, just cause i'm better at that than spinning, im stoked to work on both when it SNOWS

Why would you have to be a "complete" skier? Do what you think is the most fun and stick with it instead of trying be the most complete or whatever it is you call it

my salomon s810 bindings always pop off. It sucks. the din is at I think 8. Sometimes it is because the toepiece loosens up, but soemtimes just randomly too.

my s810s were the biggest peices of shit a could easily EASILY eject myself by pressing front and back- i just picked up some pivots and dont have any probs now

I think its more fun when you can do a little of everything, therefore I believe being a complete skier makes the most sense to me.

did he switch up and land directly underfoot, then slide to tail, or did he switch up and land directly on his tail and stick it the rest of the way? either way i want to see that shit, the way im picturing it is unbelievable

nice, fs 270?

i love presses/stall thingys. i just got nose to taill stalls on my little qp thingy yesterday, but i can't get tail to nose stalls. the nose to tail you can pop off your nose and put your hands back and stall on your tails, but when i go to do tail to nose, i do tail press but then when i try to pop that backward into nose, my noses just slide off of the top of the thingy. nose to tail's so much easy to stall cause gravity keeps your tails from going to far.

but jea, pressing is mad fun.
