Hey there

A couple of my friends and I are starting an East Coast ski/ride magazine called Pressed.

Pressed will have resort reviews that include the best places to stay, eat, and chill off the mountain as well as trails to shred while on the mountain;product reviews;event coverage, and much more.

We would like to publish our first issue in January, so right now we're calling all interested:

+photographers

+graphic designers

+writers

+anyone who feel that they can contribute to the mag

interested? contact getpressed@gmail.com

or shoot me a message on here

check us out at www.myspace.com/pressedmag

First thought was Skiing mag because they focus on the east a lot. but its not newschool.

is this a newschool mag or is it more like skiing mag?

hey i wish i could help out but i dont have enough time with school and stuff, good luck though i hope you guys get off the ground

Best of luck. I'd be interested in getting one issue, and then seeing if it's worth my while to subscribe.

Some good east coast coverage would be awesome to see though.

I'll be supportive, but I don't know how I can help, other than we typically cover a dozen or more eastern ski resorts a year.

I'm a photojournalism student; PM's sent. Also have some experience with page layout, might be able to help there as well.

Haha pinkshirt aka goat lord's taken some good DH biking pic's of me - im interested to see what he can do on the snow with the different lighting and all. I can help with Graphics on ur cover, its prolly a promo but its kinda err lacking as well unless thats whats cool this year. I've done some work in typography and bike graphics and have a few friends in the industry. lemme know.

Hey this sounds like a sick idea, I can help out with some photography and video if you want. I think Ill be going to Snowshoe, liberty, whitetail, and roundtop a lot this year so I can keep you updated. I can also probably do some graphic art depending on how much time I have between skiing and school. Also, we have a ski team and a snowboard club here at Virginia Tech that I can get the word out to. The ski team is pretty much just racing while the snowboard club is both snowboarding and freeskiing (it's also the biggest club here with a couple hundred kids). If you want me to advertise for you around here and a couple of the colleges around, let me know.
