Press vs. Slide

People do actual "presses" now. Can we start using the terms that coordinate with skating and snowboarding, and really make much more sense?

Presses are 50-50, pressing your skis into the rail/box, so you are only on your noses/tails. Nose press and tail press, pretty simple.

Slides are done with skis perpendicular to the rail. You are sliding the rail with that part of your ski. Coming onto the rail regular and putting your feet over into a "tail press" is a bluntslide, not a tail press. A "lip tail press" is just a tailslide. Lipslide "nose press" is a noseblunt. Regular on noseslide is just a noseslide
 
this. you are correct on your names, but unfortunately nobody is going to change cause you made a thread about it.
 
I just enjoy sliding/slipping/pressing/griding/manuvering/whirlydooing past my bindings. Trick names have never been a huge deal to me because my friends and I will just say stupid shit but understand exactly what we're talking about
