Presidential debate predictions

What do you guys think is going to happen in the debate tonight. Think it's going to be a roast session. every time Donald answer he gives somehow relates to imigrants or his corporation. The Hillary messages will be brought up and she will try to appeal to the younger people voting but will make an ass of herself. Thoughts?

Thinking about the debate tonight literally makes me cringe... It's going to be so painful and humiliating to watch unfold live. I'm glad it happens at 3am my time so I can actually sleep tonight. But I do look forward to assessing the wreckage the following morning.

Since it's crunch time for both of the candidates I don't think it will be the shit show everyone else is expecting. They both know they have to be careful with what they say so it could be a more mellow debate then what we have seen recently. This years election may be a joke compared to others but that doesn't mean it's not important. It's going to be Trump or Hillary at this point so I don't know about anyone else but i'll be intently watching.

Also, if this happens, the debate will be 100x better

debates? r u fucking kidding me this election is a joke. its like two kids fighting in a park. this mother fucker trump just says "crooked hillary" and hillarys' camp rebuttles with some other lame ass slogan.

give me a fucking break. why the fuck is there not a section on the voting ballot that says "none of the above"?

change the voting ballot and allow a none of the above option, and if the majority ppl vote none of the above, get a new batch of candidates in that ppl can vote for

keep it simple stupid

One thing I want everyone to know regardless of what comes out of either of those lying politicians mouthes tonight is this.... Neither of them can make it snow more or less in any place on earth.... so who cares

Hillary just said "I never called the TPP the gold standard" ......

holy wow this debate is comedy gold.

Just goes to show how sad our politics are...people are watching this for laughs

One of these clowns is going to be our leader

Why is Donald even bothering?

I mean obviously Hillary is going to play her Woman Card and instantly win.

i hate to say this but Trump owned Clinton in this debate

Hillary didnt have her teleprompter with her, so she had nothing to say

the best quote of the debate was " Hillary has a lot of experience, but it is bad experience"!

^he's right you know

Trump wrecked for the first thirty minutes, got thrown off his game at the IRS q's. Too bad Lester is as biased as the rest and didn't target Hillary with equal questions.

they both suck at debating. our leadership debates in Canada have a much higher quality of debate and that's not saying much, the best debater is usually the 5th party candidate May.

No matter how you feel about Hillary, in this debate she was ions ahead of Trump when it came to actual policy substance.

I felt like after the first 15 minutes or so, this became Trump's strategy.

I really want to take control of political debates. I put each person on stage in a box with a microphone, and I have a button that allows there sound to be transmitted. They have 7.5min or whatever to answer the question and after that I cut their ass off from the sound.

yup. she definitely won this debate. maybe 5% of the words that came out of Trumps mouth made sense with the words around them.

But her winning this debate doesn;t make her a better candidate.

Not by any stretch of the imagination. We are comparing a turd sandwich to a puke smoothie. Unfortunately, we have to

choose one.

But that being said, we saw the difference between an actual politician who is used to debating versus a man who waltzed through the GOP Primary debates with insults.

Not to mention Holt's bogus "fact-checking", he did a shit job, but I suppose he was just following orders. Trump had to debate both him and Hillary, and somehow still managed to hold his own. Not to mention it seemed as if Hillary already knew what she would be asked.

Trump missed some good opportunities for counter-punches. Not to mention what he could've potentially said about Hillary's treatment of Bill's female victims, especially at the end there when the old hag brought up the pageant queen.

Bogus? He called out Donnie on his BS lies...like blatantly obvious lies. Did he overstep a few times with some questions? Perhaps, he definitely didn't ask Hillary similar questions regarding her controversies, but seeing as hers had less to do with actual policies it makes some sense.

But to call out Hillary for "knowing" responses shows your bias. She is a seasoned politician, she knows her platform (since she actually has one) and she knows how to debate. It also isn't hard to be shown as a more competent and even-keeled debater when your opponent talks in circles, speaks in generalizations, and is easily aggregated by the simplest of comments.

If Donnie wants to do well next debate he needs to do a few things. First he needs to prepare, secondly, he needs to remain calm, and most importantly, he needs to hit her on what makes him attractive to his voting base (beyond the racial controversies) which include trade, her lack of "results" (not sure what a SoS and former Senator can do on their own independent of support), and frankly her flip-flopping. She has shown she can handle some faults well since she actually apologized for her server mistake but sometimes a candidates response doesn't matter, the damage has been done.

It it doesn't matter how Donnie did in the minds of his voting base or Hillary's base, it matters to those people on the fence and since he came off poorly (you can't really argue otherwise), it is imperative he doesn't repeat his antics again. Hell, he doubled down on his fat comments less than 12 hours later. Like for fucks sake, you're running for President, leave that shit alone and sure as hell don't double down.

This was, in my opinion, the biggest gaff he made the other night. And by extension, it means that people who do pay their fair share in taxes are not smart- not exactly the best way to win over voters who have a functioning brain. And this just proves that he doesn't understand anything about how the world actually works. He doesn't even realize that the ability for the government to properly function actually hinges upon people paying their taxes. He is going to absolutely fuck the middle class so he & the rest of the billionaire tax evaders can swim in their Scrooge McDuck swimming pool of money. Handing over the keys to the most powerful country in the world to this lunatic would be thoroughly disastrous.

Yeah that Miss Universe controversy could have been so easily not a controversy if he had handled himself properly. When your opponent brings that up you say, "I have respect for women, unfortunately this contestant didn't work out." End of story, no one is talking about how you doused yourself in gasoline and lit yourself on fire. It was the same deal when Clinton accused him of housing discrimination. The obvious answer is, "we did not discriminate against anyone." Or with the birther thing, "It was never because he was black, it had to do with his birthplace." She outright called Trump a racist to his face and he didn't deny it.

He needed to get some women, minorities, and reluctant conservatives to vote for him and somehow went out if his way to shit on all those groups over and over again. I honestly couldn't believe what I was watching.

How would it have been smart of him as a businessman to pay more taxes than he was legally obligated?

Are you high?

That's not at all how he phrased it, nor implied it, plus no one can say with certainty that he followed every legal step since he hasn't released his tax returns. Are you high?

His prior shady dealings and numerous lawsuits demonstrate that he is the type of person who would take a legit tax deduction and bend it as far has he could, try to obfuscate it as much as possible, leave it up to the state to argue that what he did was illegal, and waive his legal team/money at in an effort to dissuade any attempt to dig too deeply. Now that he is running for President, that last part will (hopefully) not be effective and he'll get caught red-handed having done something illegal.

Sorry bud, you inferred something that was never implied. What WAS implued is that he is smart for taking advantage of all tax deductions available.

There area many, many things to hate Trump for. This isn't one of them.

Sorry bud, I think you are. You are totally assuming that everything he does is legal, when that's not the point he was trying to make and he never explicitly said that. Rewatch, reread the exchange between Clinton and Trump on this point. He most certainly did not say "I only take advantage of the legal tax deductions that are available". You're putting words into his mouth and jumping to that conclusion for him.

I'll grant you that it's completely possible that everything he has done is in some way legal. But that's not what he said.
