President bush is a good man

just because you went to an Ivy league school, doesn't mean you're smart. Lets see, he used to do coke, has DWI/DUI's on his record....great example of an American.

Are you serious?

Bush didn't fuck our economy. Presidents don't fuck up our economy. Our economy is run BY THE CONSUMERS (aka the US population.) You have a lot to learn about economics. Bush is nowhere near in charge of the economy. Allan Greenspan has more power towards the economy than any other person out there. Businesses moving to China is not on the hand of Bush, it's because they want more profit with cheaper labor.

He doesn't hate gays and abortions, he is just against them. There is a huge difference between hatin something and being against it.

Katrina relief is not Bush's job. Their are hired national security and national protection superiors to deal with that, not the president. Don't be an idiot and follow the blame wagon. It also doesn't help the mayor is a stubborn fuck.

He probably knows twice as many words as you.

He doesn't destroy the environment. He is a capitalist at heart. Corporations destroy the environment, NOT BUSH. It's not like he goes out of his way to harm the evironment.

It sucks we are in Iraq.

You are one seriously mislead invdividual. I can't believe you actually would even think to write that stuff. Please for the sake of yourself don't listen to what 14 year olds hear on MTV.

Bush didn't go to Harvard. But, yes, I think that a man with his connections and his fathers influence could get him just about anywhere he fucking wanted. That man was in presidential training from the day he was born.

you make it seem like he got stuck in a position he didnt want to be in, bush is a perfect example of why retards shouldnt run for politics and this thread is a perfect example of the retards that voted for him and fucked the rest of us over

hes the president when the nation has the biggest natural disaster in decades you would think maybe he has just a little to do with support

and killing thousands of 18-30 year olds just to get oil, o and he only made a couple of other countries in the world hate us. Oh and ruined our economy but whats all shit. besides he found the WMD's in Iraq and eliminated Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan. Oh he lowered taxes for the rich too! Cause they needed it badd. Oh ya and he policed the world for us. just what every body wanted

what are u talking aboutt. Gay people are the reasons for all our problems. God forbid the get married and cant have kids. That would just make our country suck to accept different people. What are we, the land of the free? Who wants to watch 2 men hold hands and kiss. It doesnt affect anybody but so what. its grosssss

both those links are bad, and i would hope his IQ is better then 95% of the populace, he the president of a country for chrissake

While I disagree with the majority of your arguments, at least they're intelligent.

However, I would like to point out that Greenspan is no longer the head of the FED.

Also, the Bush admin., by giving tax-breaks, incentives, and other benefits to large corporations is essentially undermining the concept of the free-market economy, and the Adam Smithian (new word!) ideals he tries to follow. And I really don't see how you can argue that his attempts to open public lands (National Forests, Wilderness Areas etc.) for exploitation by said corporations is not harming the environment.

Ok Mitch, i don't want to get into a huge e-argument (although i see it's too late) due to differences of opinons, but.....

Bush did fuck our economy. Maybe I used a bad example, but how about spending $186 billion on Iraq when we shouldn't be there in the first place?

He doesn't HATE gays so to say, but doen'st being against something mean that you don't like it? Also, he is against it because of his religous views on gays, and what is that age old rule about mixing religion and politics? I seem to have forgotten. But yes, there is a big difference between hating and being agaisnt something.

Alright, i'll admit i don't know shit about Katrina.

I would never say something like this "These are challenging times, and they're difficult times, and they're straining the psyche of our country." I try to think before I speak. And yes, considering he's lived a lot longer than me as has gone through more education than me, yes, he probably knows more words than me. However, knowing a lot of words has nothing to do with inteligence or even puttingh those words together into sentences.

He personally has not destroyed the environmeent, but being for digging for more oil and diverting funding from alternative energy resources deffinietly doesn't help.

Thank you for agreeing with me on at least one point (Iraq).

I, however am not misled. I simply have a differnt point of view. And by the way, MTV is possibly THE worst thing on tv right now. Again, this is all in MY "left wing, tree-loving hippie" opinon.

Well, lots of half baked opinions and ideas here. Let's see if we can make a little sense of them. You are correct that the US consumer drives the economy, but that doesn't mean Bush can't give it a good fucking. Consider CAFTA that allows South American farmers to undercut domestic farmers prices on their products, or allows greater influx of immigrants to take on jobs in the country. Sure the immigrants fill the unwanted jobs, but they're also starting to take the higher paying jobs as well. Poverty is still a huge issue in cities as well, and supplying the flood of immigrants with these jobs certainly cuts out the citizens already here that could use a job or two to support themselves.

You're right Bush probably doesn't hate the gays, but he sure loves the right-wing conservatives that preach a good sermon about the depths of hell ready to embrace anyone embracing their partner in a reach around. Oh yeah, they donated a couple mil to the dude to in 2004...and 2000...and his gubernatorial races. So let's just deny the gays the rights that every god-fearing hetero already enjoys along with the tax-breaks that come with being a hetero.

Sigh...abortions. Some people just don't get it. It's called privacy. I don't tell you which position you should use to properly fuck your girlfriend in. You shouldn't tell me how to correct the broken condom after you gave me the worst kama sutra position to use in the book.

Now I know Bush often claims to have a connection with God, but i'm pretty damn sure he didn't call him up on the God-Phone and say "hey Gawd, heh heh, i'm getting pretty tired of NOLA. heh heh Let's just send a Hurricane it's way and see if we can wipe it off the map, go ahead and make it the largest hurricane we've seen in the last 100 years since my party has been fuckin off on the Global Warming issue for the past 6 years and saying it's a crock o shit. henh henh (Ow my hemroids!)"

Yes it is Bush's Fault, I repeat Bush's Fault for the HUMANITARIAN DISASTER that followed the flooding of New Orleans, and the utter lack of failure of the Executive Branch (Presidency) for getting the Federal Government in gear to provide the needed assistance and evacuation in order to prevent upwards of 1000 deaths. He appointed a political crony to FEMA that was more concerned with Horse Shows than emergency response, and that is his own fault alone for killing an agency that had been a major source of Government pride in the Clinton years.

I'm sure I probably lost you after the first paragraph, but honestly to support this man is lunacy. It is the responsibily of every citizen in a republic to question government actions and voice them when there is concern. We are to redress the government for grievances. The Republic, our democracy does not exist if we do not question it, only an oligarchic dictatorships rules the govt. then.

how the fuck can you kids form your own opinion when you watch the liberal/republican news channels, don't read newspapers and take the word of your peers and parents like god. this is all it is, all regurgiating the same shit over and over again. kill yourselves.

i honestly wouldnt mind bush if he would hire a better speech writer or a speaking coach. if hes as smart as you guys say he is he does a bad job of representing himself/ our country

I totaly agree with you. I mean when he found out that 9/11 was happeneing he just sat there for 30 minutes and let the kindergarden teacher finsh her story. How rude of him would it have been to get up and leave when a national crisis was on hand. You just dont find people of that quality these days.

Admittedly secretly ordered the NSA to eavesdrop on us Ameircans. By the way, where are those warrants? Oh wait, there never were any, and yes it is constitutionally required to have court approved warrants.

-Hurried the invasion of Iraq so UN weapon inspectors couldn't finish their work, which would later prove that no WMD's existed in Iraq.

-The Bush regime failed to listen to intelligence experts who did insist that no WMD's existed in Iraq.Refusal is a bitch, and goes to show it doesn't take much for the White House to create false and misleading information on Iraq.

-The Downing Street Memo proves that "the Bush Regime 'fixed' intelligence to sell the case for war with Iraq to the American public, and planned to invade Iraq, no matter what" f(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downing_street_memo0

-The U.S violated international law by launching a war of agression against Iraq, in direct defiance of the United Nations.

-The Bush regime falsesly claimed that Saddam and Iraq were involved in the attacks on 9/11. Making statements like "We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud", the Bush regime launched a campaign of terror (psychological) against the people of the United States, just to silence dissent and to coerce the public to support the Bush regime.

-Bush launched a war of wrong information and propaganda against the people of the United States by paying members of the mdeia with U.S tax dollars just to make sure the Bush regime policy was endorsed.

-Bush neglected domestic public welfare,as demonstrated in AVOIDABLE catastrophes such as the 9/11 attacks and the AFTERMATH of Katrina.

-War crimes are commited on a daily basis by our Army, including the use of Depleted Uranium which when used on the ends of bullets makes almost any armament vulnerable to anything tipped with it.

-In 2004, a total of 1 trillion U.S dollars was spent of weapons around the world.

So what has George Bush and his regime done for this country besides turned it into a modern day "1984".

1) Theres a serious problem when I feel smarter than our own President. He makes up words for christ sakes!?! The guy is a complete fuktard and I dont care what any of you say. When I see him on TV, I automatically change it or I'll lose more brain cells than I would if I smoked one up. Ridonkulous!!!

2) He's an environmentalist? Thats complete bs, since he's been trying to get a bill through the House (well it did pass the House but got shot down in Congress, twice) to start a complete drilling organization of oil in Alaska. I understand we as a country need to ween (sp?) ourselves off of middle eastern oil companies but to endanged our own wildlife and harm OUR environment is completely ridiculous. This is the guy thats stressing that we have a problem with energy utilizations...COMPLETELY TRUE, and yet he drives a giant SUBURBAN. How can you justify that?

I dont like much of what he's done for our country. His administration has not entirely screwed up our economy, believe it or not, but Clinton's administration did a worse job in that dept then Bush. Enron and all of those companies had problems during Bush's administration because of what Clintons administration let slip by. Its all quite interesting really. Though as much as I cant stand Bush and what he stands for, he's only a little puppet to the one and only Dick Cheney. And the whole situation with the Saudis...ahh dont get me started.

ummmmmmm i kinda hope your not serious, yes there are international laws regaurding war, they are put in place by the UN

Hm..well i normally stay out of political discussions, because they never get anywhere, but i've got a lot of time on my hands.

Bush handled 9/11 very well. that was 5 years ago. Then came the Iraq war, and at first everyone was all for it, and it seemed like it was over really quickly, but then it dragged on, and on, and on... Now I feel like the Bush administration decieved the public in how they portrayed the war before it happened. No one really thought it would turn into what it is today. And we've lost, what 3, maybe 4 thousand soldiers total thus far? I agree that it is terrible, and a very sad thing, BUT they are volunteers for one, and we all get so upset and outraged over the number, but dont realize that 40,000 people get killed every year in the US from car accidents. Why isn't there an uproar from the public to increase vehicle safety and traffic laws?

Next I want to say FUCK MICHAEL MOOR and all that he stands for. He creates nothing but propaganda films, and people believe everything that's in them. He's a sneaky bastard, and his films are edited in such a way that decieves. It's just like when you write an essay for school. If you can't absolutely proove your thesis, then what do you do? I just leave out all the shit that would disprove it, and only include information that makes me look like i know what i'm talking about. Moor does the same fuckin thing, and it pisses me off because he gets renouned as a hero for creating stuff with no more merit or prestige than Nazi war propaganda.

Has Bush anal-raped our economy? In some ways, yes. War usually stimluates the economy, but this war didn't really call for any mass-production of goods like other wars we've been involved in. Because of the billions of dollars that get spent on the military whether or not we're at war, we had all the weapons and shit just stockpiled and ready to go. There wasn't the need like with WWII to mass produce goods. Bush needs to do something about the oil companies, because there is no logical reason behind why gas prices have gone up so much in the past few years.

As far as Katrina goes, i did a lot of research on it for an english paper, and although my professor hated me, I got the only 4.0 on it. The gov't did all it was responsible to do before Katrina hit. The rest of it was all on the local authorities like the governor. The governor told the US Gov't that New Orleans didn't need their assistance, and that they could handle it on their own. And you know the big ass levee that broke and flooded the city? It should have been fixed years ago, but the millions in funding that the city was given for construction and shit, was diverted to other projects, a lot of which weren't extremely important. So when shit finally went down, and the disaster was greater than the local people could handle, they looked to the US Gov't to aid them, and they did. But the thing is they weren't prepared to. All those people that got left in the city were supposed to have been evacuated by local authority, not the gov't. So basically the gov't got blamed for not taking care of it, but the Governor didn't want them to handle it in the beginning so it got all fucked up.

And as far as Bush having his religious views, and being agains gays and abortion; he didn't hide those beliefs during the campaign. Voters knew what Bush stood for when he was running for office, and he's stuck to those values. That alone makes him more respectable than most policticians in my eyes, because most of them just say whatever the people want to hear and change their minds all the time; you never really know what they'll do. But with Bush; what you see is what you get. It's his constitutional right to believe in God under whatever religion he wishes, and according to his beliefs abortion is wrong, and homosexuals are not right. But he hasn't gone to the extremes of his beliefs. He hasn't rounded up all the gay people and had them deported, or arrested abortion doctors. he's doing what he believes in his heart is right, and the voters all knew what those beliefs were when they voted for him. My personal opinions differ from his, but I dont have the power to change anything untill the next election rolls around.

carry on...

bush sucks for many different reasons but mainly because he's a moron who can't believe he didn't win the election.

Yeah my bad, I forgot Greenspan was done with the FED, but you got the point.

We have never had a "lassiez feure" economy and never will, because it wouldn't work. Adam Smith was a brilliant man, but his theory of a totally free market wouldn't work. Bush doesn't follow Smith's principals.

I'm not saying he didn't hurt the environment with his corporate rulins, but not to the extent that the other guy was trying to make them.

There's really no disagreein with me on this, it's pretty much fact.

I don't suppourt Bush either, so don't let this think I am standing up for him.

hahah Talib knows best Bush is a fuck wit and your an idiot for believing in his properganda.

Half baked opinions? Are you kiddin me?

I don't know who you think you are, but just step down from your horse a little bit.

I start off by saying I don't suppourt Bush, I just defend him when people are just exaggerating everything. Bush really hasn't messed up our economy any worse than it would have gone had someone else been president. I mean let's face it, we saw signs of it after Clinton was dissmissed from office.

Poverty will ALWAYS be an issue in a more capital welfare society. There is no preventing it.

Like I said, Bush's cabinet, FEMA, surrounding national guard, mayor of New Orleans, and other high homeland security officials are to blame. You can't just blame Bush, that's so stupid.

"The Republic, our democracy does not exist if we do not question it, only an oligarchic dictatorships rules the govt. then."

Overdramatize much? We aren't in a dictatorship, and never will be.

If the UN tells a nation not to pursue a war, that nation probably should respect that decision since the un virtually represents all of the independent states in the world. The U.S. going against that decision really just shows how arrogant our President is. So the comment "the un are a bunch or pussy" (which first of all sounds like a first grader wrote it) shows that you are very ignorant and should school yourself on a topic before you write about it.

How am I exxadurating when I say that he has a large impact on the economy and that he doens't care much for environmental conservatin? He's fucking trying to dig in Alaska for oil. Alaska! that's the AK!
