supersets is where its at, run through your entire work one set at a time, get your whole workout set then do one set of every lift w/ out a break, after that one set take like 5-10 mins off drink water/celltech/creatine whatever your fancy, rub one out, then knock of more sets, for definition, low weight high reps, mass, less reps high weight

Yeah supersets are the shit, plus u get your workout done so quickly, and are real good for gaining mass. My opinion on supplements is that they obviously do work, but in the long run they burn a whole in your pocket, and you become addicted to them in a way. When you are taking creatine you def see results quick and then when u stop, bam you lose all that water weight and you quickly go back down. The only thing I have ever taken is protein, but i dont really think it did shit, i just gained a few pounds. They make egg whites now in a powder form, where you can take them as a shake.. look into that if u wanna take protein, but i just go natural

I only supplement with whey protein (GNC chocolate the only one ive fouind that is close to decent tasting) , ive looked into creatine and sheisst, but i just dont wanna bother with loading and shit...i dont think its normal but my friend took creatine and hardly drank anything else, got stones....plus i think some brands of creatine make you kinda bloated, but you get your mass and a pretty decent cut QUICK, just gotta keep at it, 3 months on, 3 off or whatever, cause its not quite as permanent

yeah, im not looking to bulk as much as just strength and a little tone yadda yadda. oh yeah, to add something in, a really good skiing cardio thing is jumprope.

its so about stretchin, and not bulking up too much. your muscles gotta be flexible. id say its all about endurance, muscles-including your heart. i do lotsa cardio and core and legs endurance, plyometrics and shit. Hardcore hiking is awesome. ill try to do the grouse grind like 3 times a week, thats the best training i think.

 
i work at a gym so ya i lift. definately make sure you stretch cuz not only will you reduce the risk of injury but stretching increases your muscle mass by 16%, thus giving you better results. also lifting strengthens your joints and shit like that which also reduces injury during physical activity (i.e. skiing). and proper form is wicked important cuz if you arent using the right form youre gonna get shitty results. basically unless you know what youre doing go with the 2 up 4 down method. 2 seconds as you lift the weights up, pause, then lower the weights under control in 4 seconds and repeat.

as for supplements, i drink protein shakes after i lift b/c it helps rebuild your muscle tissue much faster and you wont feel as sore

 
Glutamine is awesome for muscle recovery to, and gives you a wicked boost of energy before you lift. But I like to stay natural, but I tried this for a little while and saw some good results. Glutamine is basically an extra amino acid that speeds it up (correct me if im wrong)

the following keeps me in shape.

1. 3-4 times a week, a situp session in the morning to keep my base strong. (~100 situps)

2. Biking around places. Specifically to work and the swimming pool.

3. Brazilian Jiujitsu (grappling)

4. I go to the pool, and practice basic tricks off of a springboard thats mounted 10 ft up. Lincons, flips/backflips/summersaults/lawndarts, 180-backflips, etc etc, or just diving for fun.

 
yeah, ive been doing a pre-bed situp/pushup routine for the past about 4 months. i started out with 4 sets of 25 situps and 4/10 pushups and just kept upping it by five as it got easier, im up to 160 (4/40) situps and 100 (4/25) pushups

i really dont like the creatine stuff. i live in minnesota and the whole korey stringer deal really set my mind on that. it can help but it really dehidrates you.

Everybody has a different schedule, a different body type, and wants different things. Your best bet is to pick up a magazine like muscle and fitness, just read up on your shit, and conform it to what you want, if you are a newbie in the lifting world, magazines will teach you a shitload. Just don't get sucked into all the bulllshit supplement ad's which are 90 percent of the magazines

benching isnt as much as your arms as it is your chest. and someone asked about your back-do some squats cuz its the best workout you can get for both your legs and your lower back.

ah fuck, its been awhile since ive been here huh? well, i figured out their evil plan, they put the freeweights, machines w. some stairmasters, and the cardio shit all in three different places. no hitting on girls for me :(

Swimming is always good, and i did diving during the winter and that helped me soo much i have never been able to spin or do flips as fast as i have. oh yeah their was an articale on the latest sking magazine on like a 3 month plan on how to get in shape for the season you should check it out its pretty cool.

 
ugh, swimming is good but its one of those things that you gotta be in for awhile, but that whole resistance training shit you can do in the water is nuckin futs.
