does anyone know how to hike alta or da bird in the preseason?

is it legal? or do you have to do it early early or late with a full moon

i know nothing and want to ski so send some fo please

i don't think you can hick the bird. just go to alta, but don't cause a avy or sluf and tumble in to the rocks.

yea, some of my room mates hiked alta and said it wasn't good, rocks and sticks everywhere. but fuck, its skiing...go hike that shit

I was at alta yesterday and it was stellar. Deep ass pow, completely untracked, you can hike brighton or alta anytime in the season because both are on national forest land (so the land is essentially yours). No one gives a shit at the bird either if you want to hike preseason, but it's kinda late now for preseason hiking since a shitload of resorts are "suppose" to open this weekend.

I Don't know what your talking about this is the best time of year to hike snowbird there are some good cliffs to drop that are pretty big you should go hit them but make sure you land back first, because all that force could break your legs

The bird may be doing control work now (heard a bomb go off today over there), which means they might close it to uphill traffic. But you can always ski the bird where those Texans can't do shit about it.

And Alta sucks, don't bother going there.

Yeah I was skiing over weeds at brighton today just waiting for the scraping noise, it never came. The snow was actually pretty fucking nice, I noticed on the steep stuff it was quite shallow though
