bush IS a multi millionaire. he made his fourtune running oil companies.

I donated a approx. 1/300 dollars I have. not a lot, but I did donate some. It's more of a percentage of my total net worth then bush donated.

Yay for him. but it was so little of his entire net worth that it's nothing more then a PR stunt. look at some of the the other celebrities. some random no name actress alone donated 1 million. a race car driver donated 10 million. Those are 2 people though. Be Greatful he donated anything, because it is just that, a donation. It's not required, no one made him do it.

And to be honest How has your life changed for the worst in the last 4 years other than results of 9/11, Which alot of people try to blame on G. Bush. All those little statistical lists about how he sat in on the biggest economic crash ever recorded in the U.S. well sorry but those were all in the months following 9/11, and since then the country has recovered greatly.

The President of the United States makes 400,000 a year. He just gave everyone in the Government a raise with the exception of himself.

Also it is possible that Bush has donated more than 10,000 that amount just may be the only amount made public. He can keep all of his donations private if he chooses to do so.

I cant believe people are comparing money spent in iraq to money spent on tragedies.Iraq is OURS, we started it, its all on us. We have a duty to rebuild iraq cause we fucked it up so bad. We dont owe countries like Sri Lanka or India anything, this is none of our buisness. We do have a kind of moral obligation and we are expected to give money, but we dont have to. Im sure the people actually suffering from this tsunami are greatly thankful for what we and other countries gave when we didnt need to.
