Prereleasing bindings

are there any bindings beside the rossi/look px that doesnt prerelease? my salomon s810s always did but people with the z10 have had good luck.

I have always used salomon and never had a problem. Maybe you should have an ASTM test done on them. They do it at the ski shop, usually around $20 - $30 where I live. It will tell you how much force it takes compared to how much it should take to release your binding.

s810s are pretty shitty bindings..most decent consumer bindings these days shouldn't pre release

You are probably right. I only use the s914 or I have a few pairs of race stock binders, they are pretty heavy, but they definately don't pre-release or break.

I should have add a disclaimer regarding the Jester/Duke, as the jury is still out on those. But I can say from first hand experience that the 12.0 Free sucks bad. They prerelease on perfect switch landings like no one's business, then you've got two broken brakes to replace. Personally, I'm through with Marker.

The rossi/look P-series (turntable design) never pre-release. It seems like you are more loyal to salomon though.

Yeah I'll agree with that..the higher din/racestock stuff is actually quite good..I still wouldn't buy them if i had a choice of other brands though

no ive got rossis but i was just wondering for my next pair of skis, which wont be for a while. marker is coming out with the griffen which is a din of 4-12 version fo the jester

these bindings look like winners

He was talking about the turntable style bindings, like rossi FKS's, they don't make them anymore though
