Prepping? Preppers?

Anyone run into this at all? I heard about it for the first time a week ago at work and now keep running into videos and articles relating to it in some way.

Its basically preparing your self for some shit going down in the not so distant future, like learning survival skills, guns, vehicle stuff, Idonno even though its a weird idea its all kinda cool stuff just to know for general knowledge/ feeling like bad ass that could survive if some Mad Max type shit ever went down.

I have a stash of money hidden wherever i'm living. Its enough money that it could get me to my family. Seriously though, its a fucking scary world we live in. Bunkers are a bit extreme but I'm in the process of making my escape bag, which is a bag i just keep in my closet, and if something reallly fucking bad happpens, I can just grab that one bag, and go and can be fine for a few days.
