I have been filming some sand sliding for a couple of days now and trying to make a descent hi res edit but have had some problems.
I have been editing in premiere pro cs5 and love it except its so slow to update when i want to preview the vid or even when i want to add an effect it takes over 3 minutes to see it in the preview. Now i have the macbook pro 15 inch, 4 gigs, 2.8 ghz core 2 duo (less then a year old) and i have the settings on high performance instead of the save battery one. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong here?
Also would FCP be alot faster?
